Best cruise for young couples?

I would like to go on a cruise with my husband next May. We will be 25. I want to go on a cruise to somewhere a little different - so many people go to the caribbean. I have looked into cruises that go along the US/Canada borders, both Pacific and Atlantic sides. I like the looks of them, but it looks like for the most part people are 40 and over. Does anyone know of a cruise that has younger people but doesn't go somewhere too generic?Best cruise for young couples?
Royal Caribbean and Carnival both tend to be more popular with the younger crowd than other cruise lines, so focus your search on them. You can try cruises that go to Mexico or Alaska; there are some that ';Cruise to Nowhere'; that don't stop at any ports and you just get to enjoy the ship. The Caribbean has plenty to offer young travelers, so I wouldn't worry too much about that.Best cruise for young couples?
Hi there!

I wouldn't say that I am omniscient when it comes to cruising, but after 20+ cruises, I would say I have a handle on it. To go somewhere that would have younger people onboard, you definitely would have to choose the right cruiseline. My only four choices for you would be Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Princess, and Norwegian Cruise Line; all these cruiseline exhibit the vibrant and active lifestyle that you are looking for. Also, the time of year really matters when looking for the younger crowd. The summer months are the only time that would have the major surge of younger couples and families, as the school season would control the vacationing months. During the summer season, I would definitely recommend the Mediterranean (NOT the Baltic) and Hawaii. Avoid Alaska, as these itinerary attract more ';mature'; couples. For something closer, you should try the Southern Caribbean. Yes, this is Caribbean, but you start cruising out of San Juan and you visti the more exotic ports (St. Lucia, Barbados, Aruba, Curacao, etc) that normal Caribbean cruises wouldn't include.

Personally, I don't like to cruise with Carnival because the guests and some staff onboard makes the cruising experience horrible. Make sure to check to see how old the ship is before deciding.

Here are some amazing vessels that I have been on that would definitely suit you for the summer next year: Pride of America (NCL/Hawaii), Brilliance of the Seas (Royal/Mediterranean), Adventure of the Seas (Royall/ Southern Caribbean), Emerald Princess (Princess/Mediterranean), Carnival Splendour (Mediterranean).

Hope this helps and wish you the best of luck!
Don't pay attention to Bob K Carnival is a good cruise line (I have been on 5 Carnival Cruises) but he really doesn't answer your question. I live in Maine so trust me when I say avoid the Canadian cruises (in May), at least along the Eastern coast. The water is choppy and the weather is cold. The Alaska cruises are nice but you are correct in your assumption that the average age of the guest will be above 40. Bob is Right about the Med but do you have the time to take what will be a long cruise. Even if you only go for 7 days you will need at least 4 days travel time. So if you can get two weeks great...and the prices are not all that much more. I would suggest Hawaii but you are looking at some pricey cruises. Depending upon where you are flying from the flight is not so bad. Good luck, but I'm sure no matter what cruise you select you will have a great time.
Royal Caribbean is great for romantic couples. It is more high class.

Carnival is for college students and it's more of an immature party scene.
Carnival
for young couples i would go carnival.more young people than any other line.more party oriented.
carnival is more in tune with a younger crowd..been on all the west coast to mexico, 3 day is a big party boat. but all of them are great for a first cruise
carnival sucks. never go w/ carnival

Mexico is good. My wife and I took a cruise for our 10 th anniversary, we were 30. It was a seven day cruise from San Diego down to Cubo San Lucs, Mazatlan %26amp; Puerto Vallarta. The ship had tours available for guest, we took several and had lot's of fun. We are planning to do another cruise very soon. The boat was filled about 3/4 with old people. But that shouldn't stop you from taking a cruise. Another opion is calling the cruise line, some times they have speical events for young couples.
The age group varies greatly from one sailing to the next so there is no way to say go on this ship if you want a younger crowd. There are always some people your age on just about every sailing as far as I have seen. (Ihave been on over 20 cruises and 7 different cruise lines). The Mexican Riviera is fun. Have you considered Hawaii, Alaska, or Tahiti? May is just a little early for really enjoying Alaska, but they do start sailing then.

Maybe you would enjoy one of the smaller ships that actually use sails. I just booked a couple on one that travels the East Coast and is only about $1000 per person and includes a tour in each of the cities. There are lots of options and you really should talk with a cruise specialist, not just a travel agent

You can take a cruise to Hawaii, it has quite a few younger couples, since Hawaii mostly consists of outdoor activities. For something more exotic, you can try a Mediterranean cruise that goes to Italian ports as well as Greece and Spain.

There was a television show in the 70's called He said She said that works well for couples parties. You separate the men from the women. You give all the men a list of questions-the same ones- and the women a list of questions that are different from the men's questions, but all of the women get the same list. You have them put their name on the papers and answer the questions, in writing. Then you put the couples back together and you take turns. You read the one of the men's questions to the women, and then the answers that were given. The women then have to choose which answer their guy gave. Then you reverse it and ask the women a question and let the men pick from the answers. A whiteboard to keep score on is helpful. This can get quite hilarious, depending on the questions asked.
Okay this is a really fun thing do... have the party be a ';6 pack'; shower. You can have each person who is of age of coruse bring a six pack of somthing beer, wine, or something and then have the bride and groom pick their favorite. now i mean like have the guest get really creative! At the one I went to my father and mother got one of those six wine bottle carriers from the store, and my mother spiced the outside up and my father makes wine and they put six different kinds that he had made and bottled. I was under age so i got six wine glasses to go with it! it was really fun and there was a lot of different beers and stuff there that the groom had never heard of and all that jazz. And the winner gets to pick one of the six packs so you dont have to buy a gift for winning! Have fun and good luck!
Wedding-themed Pictionary is always fun for a mixed crowd. It makes everyone get up and participate, and the funny drawings that come out of it are guaranteed to make everyone laugh. If you're comfortable with it, and know you won't offend any of the guests, you might want to include some naughty clues.

Should the government issue single mothers husbands or just give their children to responsible couples.?

Best if its left to the Christian Church !!!Should the government issue single mothers husbands or just give their children to responsible couples.?
Neither. A child functions best in a loving home. ';Issuing'; a woman a husband is no guarantee that she would like the man chosen for her and vice versa. Many single mothers have left men who they didn't love, who were abusive, alcoholics, etc. This is no solution. And just because she doesn't have a husband doesn't mean she's irresponsible. In fact, there are plenty of couples who are quite irresponsible and shouldn't be parents.

If the government is going to intervene, what they should do is ensure her child(ren) has/have adequate day care and she has a job where she can earn a living to support her family.Should the government issue single mothers husbands or just give their children to responsible couples.?
what the hell?! what kind of question is that? the government doesn't have the power to make or break families unless of course your a liberal. you for big government right? of course you are you want the government to have total control over your life so you don't have to do a damn thing. good for you %26lt;---(sarcasm)

Yeah, issuing husbands sounds like a great idea, if i can somehow have a child does that mean i get issued a wife?
Those are two fallacious and ridiculous choices! How about this. The government should get out of our lives!

Why do some people get so angry when they see interracial couples?

If you want to date only your race that's fine, but why do some people feel that they have the right to harass someone else because of who they choose to date? Why do some people get so angry when they see interracial couples?
I believe that there are some, especially in the older generations, that still have radical beliefs when it comes to interracial dating. Mind you, their beliefs weren't so radical when they were younger.

Thankfully, the mindset society has now has changed dramatically. I live in Southern California and find that pretty much any lifestyle is accepted. I know there are other parts of the country, though, that still struggle with racism (i.e. parts of the South). Why do some people get so angry when they see interracial couples?
    Because they are ignorant.
Racial discrimination or either that maybe the person judging had a horrible or traumatic experience about inter racial relationship. or the person is just so dense.
I totally agree. Im hispanic and my man is black and if you only knew some of the dirty looks we get, from both blacks and hispanics. I like to think that these people dont have a life and thats why theyre to busy worrying about mine.
IT'S DEFINELTY A RACE ISSUSE. SOME PEOPLE IN DIFFERENT CULTURES OR TRADITIONS IN THE FAMILY DO NOT WANT OTHERS TO BE ACCEPTED IN TO THEIR GROUP. JUST LIKE A BLACK PERSON WOULD NOT EXACTLY FIT INTO A INDIAN COMMUNITY SO THE PARENTS WOULD NOT APPROVE OF THEIR MARRIAGE OR SEEING EACH OTHER, I THINK IT'S AN STUPID, IDOITIC THEORY AND I BELIEVE THAT PEOPLE SHOULD GET TO PICK WHO THEY WOULD OR WOULD NOT LIKE TO DATE OR MARRY.
It all really goes back to our history of society. We were first wrong by having slavery. Some people are not used to change so they think they can change it themselve. I have no problem with it i think if your happy and they treat you with respect and dont make you do stuff uou dont want to then they are great. :-)

http://www.frommers.com/destinations/chi…What are some good things for couples to do in Chicago?
Go to navy Pier! It's a blast and romantic. The top of the Sears Tower is fun as long as it isn't too cloudy!
I posted this for someone else but mavbe it will help you too...

Definitely go to the top of the John Hancock building on Michigan Avenue , there is a lounge on the 97th floor that is very intimate called the Signature Room. It is lovely, and you can have a few drinks and view the city from there. (A hint- when they ask you if you have reservations for the restaurant, just say yes and go up to the bar area. No one will stop you. Otherwise you have to wait for hours!) You can also take a horse and carriage ride around downtown Chicago from nearby the John Hancock, which is fun and worth the ride.

Not too far from there is Navy Pier, and there is a huge Ferris wheel. I think it is a 45 minute ride, and Ferris wheels are romantic (right?). You can also catch a dinner cruise from Navy Pier, which is definitely romantic.

Also.... In the basement of the Hancock building is a restaurant called The Cheesecake Factory. It's not romantic, but if you like cheesecake, be sure to grab a slice. And across the street is Garrett's Popcorn. This is a must for every tourist in Chicago.

... I would also recommend Shedd Aquarium. It is absolutely awesome.
Some great things to do as a couple in Chicago would be to check and see if there is a Valentine's party or concert going on. It usually is with great people like R. Kelly, Tyrese, 3 Piece, or whatever. You can go downtown to one of many fancy restaurants such as the Cheesecake Factory or Lawry's. You can walk downtown (even though it'll be cold as hell) and view the snow and sightsee. Hope u have fun!
As they say once in the Windy city, the food is twice as bigger twice as local. If you guys are fans of Baseball...Well you know attend a Game!(Conhan is in chicago is at this moment) Go to:

';In 1998, the city officially opened the Museum Campus, a 10-acre (4-ha) lakefront park surrounding three of the city's main museums: the Adler Planetarium, the Field Museum of Natural History, and the Shedd Aquarium. The Museum Campus was constructed on the southern section of Grant Park. Grant Park is also home to Chicago's other major downtown museum, the Art Institute of Chicago, which is partnered with The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. The Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, located in the Hyde Park neighborhood, is housed in the only in-place surviving building from the World's Columbian Exposition of 1893.

The Oriental Institute, part of the University of Chicago, has an extensive collection of ancient Egyptian and Near Eastern archaeological artifacts, while the Freedom Museum is dedicated to exploring and explaining the First Amendment to the United States Constitution. Other museums and galleries in Chicago are the Chicago History Museum, DuSable Museum of African-American History, Mexican Fine Arts Center Museum, Museum of Contemporary Art, the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, and The Renaissance Society.

Chicago has a major theater scene, and is the birthplace of modern improvisational comedy.[11] The city is home to two renowned comedy troupes: The Second City and I.O. (formerly known as ImprovOlympic). Renowned Chicago theater companies include the Steppenwolf Theatre Company (on the city's north side), the Goodman Theatre, and the Victory Gardens Theater. Other theatres, from nearly 100 storefront performance spaces such as the Strawdog Theatre Company, the House Theatre Company, TimeLine Theatre Company and Remy Bumppo Theatre Company in the Lakeview area to landmark downtown houses such as the Chicago Theatre, present a variety of plays and musicals. The city is home to the Lyric Opera of Chicago, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Joffrey Ballet, and several modern and jazz dance troupes. The city's classical music scene is also home to companies including Music of the Baroque, Chicago Opera Theater, the Chicago Chamber Musicians, Chicago a cappella, and many others.

Chicago is known for its Chicago blues, Chicago soul, Jazz, and Gospel. This strong tradition of music and musical innovation have continued into contemporary styles. The city is the birthplace of the House style of music, and is the site of an influential Hip-Hop scene. In the 1980s the city was a center for industrial, punk and new wave (spawning the famous Wax Trax! label); this influence continued into the alternative scene of the 1990s, with The Smashing Pumpkins emerging out of Chicago onto the global stage in the early 1990s. Chicago was an epicenter of the development of rave culture in the 1980s even through today. There is a flourishing independent rock scene, including the recent explosion of Chicago emo acts, with multiple festivals featuring various acts each year (Lollapalooza, the Intonation Music Festival and Pitchfork Music Festival being the most prominent).

    Chicago has several signature foods which reflect the city's ethnic and working-class roots. These include the deep-dish pizza and the Chicago hot dog, which is almost always made of Vienna Beef and loaded with mustard, chopped onion, sliced tomato, pickle relish, celery salt, sport peppers, and a dill pickle spear (however, putting ketchup on a Chicago hot dog is often viewed as 'sacrilegious'). Chicago is also known for Italian Beef sandwiches and the Maxwell Street Polish (always served topped with grilled onions and mustard). The city has many upscale dining establishments as well as many ethnic restaurant districts. These include ';Greektown'; on South Halsted, ';Little Italy'; on Taylor Street, just west of Halsted, ';Chinatown'; on the near South Side, and South Asian on Devon Avenue. Each summer at the end of June there is a food festival called the Taste of Chicago in Grant Park. The park is home to the famous Buckingham fountain and is located right in the midst of downtown off the lake. Every type of food in the city is represented, with free concerts and events daily.';

  • In wich west coast cities are black women/white american men couples more common?

i'm just curious because many people say that are common there, and i ask it apart LA and SF in wich i heard depends on the areas , but i want to know in other w. coast cities what is the situation, answer really and thx a lot In wich west coast cities are black women/white american men couples more common?
Your obsession scares me. It is like you are taking inventory for hate crimes to follow. In wich west coast cities are black women/white american men couples more common?
Only 1 white husband in 439 is married to a black women, whereas 1 black husband in 15 is married to a white woman. I have never seen statistics on where this is most likely to occur. It's a pretty small group.

    =====================

The black husband / white wife combination quadrupled from 1960 to 1980, whereas there was almost no change in the opposite pairing. Only since 1980 has the white husband black wife occurred more frequently.

Mildred Delores Jeter Loving just died in May of this year, almost 50 years after her marriage to a white man which sparked the VA vs. Loving case.

Couples (Anyone in a Committed Relationship - Age 21 or Over), do you make your Bed before leaving the house?

    Yes, we make our bed

**** For you Yes responders, I'm curious Why? ****

No we don't. We choose not to make our bed, because what's the point, as all we are going to do is climb back in it, when we come home at night.Couples (Anyone in a Committed Relationship - Age 21 or Over), do you make your Bed before leaving the house?
Yes, I make my bed. It's a habit since I was a little girl. I also don't feel like I'm all together if I don't make it before I leave the house. It feels like something is missing.Couples (Anyone in a Committed Relationship - Age 21 or Over), do you make your Bed before leaving the house?
Nope, not in the mornings, but I do make it before we get back in it in the evenings lol. I like the sheets to be all straight and whatnot before we get in it, but don't care if I make up the bed for an empty house before I leave in the mornings.
Not as a general rule. It does seem pointless. I hate the tucked in feeling of a just made bed anyway, by the time we wake up in the morning the blankets are all over, sideways, upside down, half on the floor...
No, I do not make my bed. Or should I say WE do NOT make our bed. Nobody is going into our room except us. I do NOT show it to guest, and if you're family then it doesn't really matter.
I always make my bed before leaving the house, it's just one of my pet peeves.
im the first to leave the house....by design.

Is it true that in Usa black women/white american men couples are the rarest interracial pairings?

i ask cause i live in Usa and i never seen one . thxIs it true that in Usa black women/white american men couples are the rarest interracial pairings?
I'd say no -- there are a lot of black women/white men couples... I don't know what the least common pairing is... but it's definitely not that one :-) Is it true that in Usa black women/white american men couples are the rarest interracial pairings?
No. That is not the rarest combination and I agree that it is increasing more than ever.

@ grizzly: just because YOU dont date black women, it doesnt mean there arent thousands of white men who date and marry them. Heck Im seeing not one, but TWO white guys. Different white guys have different tastes, so you certainly dont speak for all of them:-)
I don't know the actual statistics on it. Very good friend of mine - black woman married to a white guy.

As for your personal experience, it might just be where you live. I've lived in cities my whole life and have seen every possible combination there is.
i was at work today and i saw a white man and a black woman couple. they seemed very happy.

i have dated out my race a few times, so i've been a part of that kind of pairing.

i think black/asian is the rarest

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?鈥?/a>
No it seems like the 2nd most common. I could've been in several of those relationships, but I wasn't feeling those certain dudes. If anything would be rare, I would specifically say it's between Black women and Indian men.
I live in florida and i see them all the time. not just ';dating'; couples, but married couples too. if me and my bf don't work out, my next one would be a white guy too.
Are you serious? I see many white men and black women together.

I married to black woman and she is rest now.

Are you serious? You don't see it at all?
Yes.I have met and known two couples that are interracial. The one couple I did not know that well but the other couple were involved in Special Olympics. They were coaches. You might be surprised.
Then you must be isolated. I see them all the time...and all other couples for that matter...they even put more on tv to help people realize whats really going on. On fake shows and real couples that are just being recorded.
    No,

I see all kinds of pairings, but like others have posted. I don't see many black women with Japanese or Eskimo men. Thats just one persons observation though.
I have seen several couples like that where I live. I do not think it is the rarest of interracial pairings.

Maybe. But like all pairings its on the increase. It's certainly less common than BM/WW pairs but I would never have thought the least.
no, that's the most common. Asian and Arabic are probably the rarest. Haven't seen any of those yet.
Asian man/Black woman is the rarest
no Americans are melting pot I'm Asian American
no asian men/black women are the rarest
No. As a matter of fact, I think it's the pairing that is increasing the most. I agree with ';Captain Falcon';.
    No its Asian man/black woman
I agree with the first answer.
    WOW....REALLY....!!!!

Oh well, does it really matter?

What would you like to ask?If couples have same blood group..A+ would have any problem with pregnancy?

No, if you are both A+ you will not have any problems relating to the RH factor. If the mother is negative (such as A- like myself) and your husband was positive (my husband in A+) i will need to get a shot (at 28weeks and after delivery) to prevent my body from making antibodies against the baby which could be a different blood type them myself.

When same sex couples get married how do they decide who's going to be the husband and who's gonna be the wife?

I think it is a natural thing... they slip into the role they best suit. If they act more feminine they are the ';wife'; and if they are more masculine they are the ';husband';. But if they were to introduce themselves to you they would just use the term spouse or partner. When same sex couples get married how do they decide who's going to be the husband and who's gonna be the wife?
Didn't anyone ever tell you that prejudice and discrimination is sooo last century, Valerie X? In my opinion, any marriage, whether it is between same sex couples or not is all about the love. It is little more than a piece of paper that says you have certain rights as a couple. I am not knocking God but marriage has very little, if anything to do with religion. When you have spoken to God personally on this subject and he tells you that same sex marriage is a sin then get it on video and post it on YouTube. I'd like to see that one. When same sex couples get married how do they decide who's going to be the husband and who's gonna be the wife?
Partners don't do that. They aren't trying to be an all American married family and choose roles.......I'm sure that they balance responsibilities in other ways that straight couples don't.

This is a pretty ignorant question, really. Just because they are married doesn't mean they have to function in a normal husband/wife way.
I think most equally share the roles...they both play husband and wife roles. But I'm sure few couples split the roles in one being ';husband'; and one being ';wife.'; For example of one of the girls are more bigger or masculine or like more male things. Just like how gay people have different roles.
With some lesbian couples there is generally one that is more masculine and one that is more feminine. It is sometimes noticeable in the way they dress.

Sometimes with gay couples one tends to act more feminine than the other, even sometimes going as far as to dress like a girl.
It has nothing to do with a DECISION on who takes on what roll. I'm STRAIGHT %26amp; married %26amp; sometimes I don't know which one of us is more dominant than the other. There are no ';typical'; male %26amp; female roles. Some people choose not to live by stereotypes %26amp; instead just live happily as a couple who is equal.
Typically the more masculine one would be the husband, and the more feminine one would be the wife. If I remember, Ellen Degeneres got married recently and she's the husband. (She wore the tux and is generally more masculine.)
    I don't think they really have a conversation like that. I think they just fall into a groove that's comfortable for them and go with it. There's no need for them to establish or label themselves as anything but ';in love.';
Who ever has the biggest shaft in males is the husband and weman it is who ever is the tightest is the wife.
well its hard to say.. I met two lipstick lesbians (both really girly) but definatly one was more manly acting than the other and one was more femine.. you can always tell who is who lol
Natural selection. There has to be a representation in a relationship.
I believe one person just automatically assumes the role. you dont have to decide.
They're both a spouse..who said one has to be the ';husband'; and the other one the ';wife';?
if its two men, one with smallest penis is the female. two women, one with smallest boobs is the man.or they either flip a coin
I have lots of gay friends and they just know but they really don't think about it that way. They're more 'equals' to one another.
I've never heard any of my gay or lesbian friends refer to themselves as ';husband or wife';.
LOL......Whoever has the bigger boobs is the ';wife';.....but I personally don't give a crap myself...

Thanks Val! Hehehe...I got it on sale!

Smoking girl! ..I say you are smoking hot!! LOL
    Who really cares.
by looks i guess..who looks more female and who looks more male..or their actions.
Who ever has the bigger muscle is the husband?
Good question. why dont you ask a couple and post there reply.
Never cared to think about that
    They flip a coin.
    IDK
Why do YOU want to know?
Never thought about it. Not really sure. You got a lot of great answers here though. :D
If I were gay, I would be the man. Nobody's putting their rod up my hole.
hahaha I wonder about the same thing... maybe they just take turns? lol

Me and my boyfriend aren't compatible but have interesting combinations:

    Aquarius Moon

    Venus in Scorpio

    Mars in Sagittarius

    Him:

Again, not a match made in heaven, but it wasn't easy for us to ignore the other. My Rising is his sun sign. His Moon sign is in my sun sign. My sun embraces both his moon and venus. Lastly, our moon signs are compatible. It's been a bumpy ride these last 2 years, but I don't want to be with anyone else. When we are together emotionally and physically our relationship is great. • Can separated couples date other ppl?

During a trial separation, is it okay to date other ppl? If your answer is yes, what all can the ';dating'; couple do before it is considered cheating or ';crossing the line';?Can separated couples date other ppl?
';Trial separation';? What does that mean, to try relationships with other people? You and your spouse need to decide what direction you're going in, if you are going to try to work things out, then no, it would not be a good idea to involve other people. If the separation is just a stop on the way to an ultimate divorce then you may as well start moving on with your life. Good luck! Can separated couples date other ppl?
Well, I am in a serious relationship with a guy who is technically still married, but they are actively pursuing their divorce and the ex is also in a serious relationship with another guy. They have been separated for 8 months or so... but it is not a ';trial separation';, they knew they were done when they split, I would have to say that changes things a bit. In a trial separation, that would be something the couple should talk about openly and honestly with each other and determine what is mutually right for both of them.
If you don't want your spouse to ';date'; other people don't get separated. The reality is that once you are separated your needs don't just fall to the wayside, they exist and should be fulfilled. If you don't want the other person dating, then you don't get separated.
i agree with most but not the last one, if you separate and are thinking about wanting to date other ppl , then you already made up your mind that the relationship is over so go ahead and make it right just tell who ever you are seein that its over.
If you are separated and will be divorcing with no hope of reconcilliation, date. If your ';trial'; separation is with a view to working through your marital issues, dating would hardly be appropriate.
Are you an adult or not? Thats something a teenager would ask. Whats wrong with adults now days? Are they afraid to think for themselfs? Use some common sense people. You have a right to do as you choose. What is wrong with people ?
depends on your partner. Personally, I think it's okay as long as you don't bring the guy home after a date or anything but as the one before me said, if your partner disagrees it could be permanent
No. You're still married and separating means your trying to figure things out about your relationship-not free to date around.
It depends on what your partner's opinion is. If you don't ask him and he disagrees, it could lead to a permanent separation.
    each to there own.

me if i really love my partner i would be spending more time on fixing the problems to save the relationship instead of worrying about a part time love affair.
y is it a trial separation if u already know u want to see other people, ur mind is made up and u want to move on so just end the other one first.
Separated people should NOT date or have sex with others.

    YOU ARE STILL MARRIED!!!!
OMG i cannot believe you are asking this question .. you are still married No it is NOT ok.

What impact might the trend of couples having children later in life have on our culture? Why?

This is for my students I have to tell them a little information on this question. I'm the teacher for the week! What impact might the trend of couples having children later in life have on our culture? Why?
everyone's parents will die sooner, putting stress on the young adults of tomorrowWhat impact might the trend of couples having children later in life have on our culture? Why?
Well first of all I would think that it would benefit our society/culture because with age comes wisdom and patience. Also they are most likely educated people hence the choice to wait, and with education people make healthier choices.
less kids because you start having kids later, therefore less time to have kids. Cummon think about it! also, less parent-child involvment, because the parents are older and less likely to participate in their children's lives then they would if they were younger.
I think it would establish a new norm to wait longer for marriage and/or having children. It might also make 35 the new 30.

It all depends on the couple. If I could I would be living in the country... but the bad thing is that the nearest city would cost me lots of gas money. Make a pro and con list.

i am living with my fiance, we have a very active socia llife and are always going out to have fun. its great. but their are days when we are chilling around the house and i feel weird just hanging out, what do most couples do in their putzing around the house time.????? please dont say housework i hate housework i do that whe he is at workWhat do most couples do in their free time at home togeather other than sex?
You say that you are always going out and having fun with him, and have an active social life. But, does that include you going out with your friends without him at all? Its just that a person needs their space in a relationship. Without it, a relationship can quickly become stale, or whatever. You need to be able to have time for yourself, as well as have time available for to be with your friends. He also needs his own life which is seperate from yours. It just sounds like you may be feeling a little suffocated, thats all.

Just my opinion for what its worth...What do most couples do in their free time at home togeather other than sex?
When my b/f and I are hangin round the house w/nothin to do we go rent a movie we've never seen, read, cook something together, go for a walk, work out, play a lame board game lol. Don't underestimate sitting together %26amp; just reading...it's relaxing %26amp; a way for you to spend time together.
watch t, cook, puzzles, borad games, play video games, ...if we dont have bills to pay or anything to fix up the house
Haha, someone does have to do the housework, unless of course you can afford cleaning service. How about cooking together? Do you like cooking? Or watching TV together? Listenning to music you both love, or discovering each other's favorite music more? Guessing puzzles or crosswords? Ask your boyfriend what he would like to do.
me and my husband, besides having sex and doing housework:

    play video games

watch movies (no particular category) and snuggle

    play board games

    watch whatever's on tv

    cook something together

yeah, we're dorky, but it works.
After so many years with my husband, we do what we want to do. Sometimes, we use computers together(whenever I see some good laughs at You tube) or use computers separately, depending on our interests. Sometimes, he watches TV while I am still at the computer. He watches TV while I cook or clean house. He reads and I'm still at the computer.I play with the kids and he naps. Sometimes I nap while he play with the kids. Sometimes we both play with the kids. I do the laundry while he watches TV. There's no need to always have fun, just relax.
I love watching movies and tv with my significant other...it's a great excuse to cuddle and to catch up on the latest flicks.
Me and my spouse have been married for 20 years now. We love to play all kinds of games and we have fun and laugh all the time. I tease him when he is losing and he teases me when I am losing. It's all about a good marriage and a good relationship. You can all try renting movies instead of going out. Its more fun when your home and you can rewind the movie if you miss something. Also always keep your lines of communication open. Tell him how you feel. If you feel weird sometimes then something might be wrong because if you really love him you would not feel weird. Or maybe its just that you have not been living that long and maybe that's why you feel weird. But that will go away in time.

What good mini vacations are out there for couples who only have 3 days or so to get away? Somewhere hot!!!?

Cuba, its cheap and nice. What good mini vacations are out there for couples who only have 3 days or so to get away? Somewhere hot!!!?
The coastal islands of South Carolina, Georgia and Florida make a great mini-vacation, or full vacation! They're easy to get to, beautiful, and warm. In South Carolina, you have Kiawah Island and Hilton Head Island. Kiawah is great if you are looking for luxury, relaxation, nature and romance. It's also just outside Charleston, South Carolina so you have access to all the restaurants and activity there. Hilton Head is for a more active beach vacation and is also a beautiful spot.

In Georgia, Tybee Island is a laid-back getaway only 30 minutes from Savannah, Georgia - another great place to explore while you're in the area! Savannah's quaint inns, excellent restaurants, and beautiful scenery make it a romantic trip for couples. Jekyll Island is less than 2 hours from Savannah is another quiet spot offering a lush coastal habitat, a lot of history, and a grand, historic hotel.

In Florida, Amelia Island is just off the coast of northern Florida and has a gorgeous beach, lots to do and a fun, historic city (Fernandina Beach).

I have plenty of information and personal recommendations for hotels, restaurants, activities, local events and more on my site about these islands at www.sea-islands-vacation.com.What good mini vacations are out there for couples who only have 3 days or so to get away? Somewhere hot!!!?

It would be helpful it you stated what part of the US because if you only have three days, you don't want to spend too much time traveling.

Here's an idea on the east coast...

It's a charming beach town in Florida called -- Delray Beach, Florida!

It's a fun Caribbean-type, laid-back beach town with fun vibrations and charm! Vibrant and lively nightlife and nice upscale restaurants and sidewalk bistros.

Awesome weather all winter long!!! Easily in the 80's. Perfect beach weather and bikini weather!

    http://www.i-love-delray-beach.com/delra鈥?/a>

And there is a hotel there that totally resembles the Caribbean -- Crane's Beach House and Tiki Bar. It has also been rated as one of the most romantic hotels.

They have reggae music, white sandy beach area, and a tiki bar. Here are some photos of the hotel...

Here are some coupons on hotels and attractions too! Palm Beach

A lot depends on your budget, your interests, and your location.

Assuming you can afford to fly, there are spas and resorts of every type, in every type of climate, in reach. Seek one where people honeymoon and you'll know for sure that 'romantic' tone is a given (rather than golf, or tourism activities, for instance).

Try to find a location within a three- or four-hour flight, so you don't spend too much of your three precious days getting there and back.

We've enjoyed Tucson, Cape Cod, and Corpus Christi for just lolling around doing nothing much in gorgeous hotels; San Francisco, New York, Boston, and Chicago for sports, theatre, concerts, and fine dining; the Catskills and the Adirondacks, Yosemite, and the Grand Canyon for hiking.

Some claim gays shouldn't marry because they can't reproduce? Does this make sterile couples sinful also?

Should they also be prevented from marrying because they can't reproduce? Some claim gays shouldn't marry because they can't reproduce? Does this make sterile couples sinful also?
Marriage, at least a healthy marriage, should ALWAYS be about love, loyalty, and companionship. ALL couples who have those three things should be allowed to marry. Reproduction shouldn't have anything to do with it. Our population is high enough as it is. We NEED couples who can adopt -- that goes for gay couples, sterile couples, and couples who choose not to bear their own children. Some claim gays shouldn't marry because they can't reproduce? Does this make sterile couples sinful also?
I don't see how a legal contract of marriage between two people, which has NOTHING to do with religion, shouldn't be legal for same sex partners.

The only argument that I have heard that is reasonable, is the ';slippery slope'; argument. That if we say it's ok for two men to get married to each other, then why not brother/sister, etc.

Most of the arguments are just pathetic and sad as the one you pointed out.
That is a stupid excuse! If being gay is wrong (and I'm not saying it is) then it wouldn't be about reproducing! Many straight couples chose not to have kids and that isn't wrong!
If marriage is a sacred religious institution, then should atheist couples be allowed to marry?

    (The answer is yes)
    Apparently.

    Also, atheists shouldn't marry either because marriage is supposed to be ';in the eyes of GAWD.';
No, you must understand that gays cant marry because God ordained marriage to be between a man and a woman. so couples that cant have children are doing nothing wrong.
It's a straw argument, just like all the arguments against gay marriage. Pretty pathetic, isn't it?
YES, if it is between two sterile male or between two sterile female.

    Peace!
Blind people cant drive cars, Are you suggesting deaf people shouldnt be able to drive just to make it fair?

Can separated couples date other ppl?
