During a trial separation, is it okay to date other ppl? If your answer is yes, what all can the ';dating'; couple do before it is considered cheating or ';crossing the line';?Can separated couples date other ppl?
';Trial separation';? What does that mean, to try relationships with other people? You and your spouse need to decide what direction you're going in, if you are going to try to work things out, then no, it would not be a good idea to involve other people. Well, I am in a serious relationship with a guy who is technically still married, but they are actively pursuing their divorce and the ex is also in a serious relationship with another guy. They have been separated for 8 months or so... but it is not a ';trial separation';, they knew they were done when they split, I would have to say that changes things a bit. In a trial separation, that would be something the couple should talk about openly and honestly with each other and determine what is mutually right for both of them.
If you don't want your spouse to ';date'; other people don't get separated. The reality is that once you are separated your needs don't just fall to the wayside, they exist and should be fulfilled. If you don't want the other person dating, then you don't get separated.
i agree with most but not the last one, if you separate and are thinking about wanting to date other ppl , then you already made up your mind that the relationship is over so go ahead and make it right just tell who ever you are seein that its over.
If you are separated and will be divorcing with no hope of reconcilliation, date. If your ';trial'; separation is with a view to working through your marital issues, dating would hardly be appropriate.

depends on your partner. Personally, I think it's okay as long as you don't bring the guy home after a date or anything but as the one before me said, if your partner disagrees it could be permanent
No. You're still married and separating means your trying to figure things out about your relationship-not free to date around.

me if i really love my partner i would be spending more time on fixing the problems to save the relationship instead of worrying about a part time love affair.
y is it a trial separation if u already know u want to see other people, ur mind is made up and u want to move on so just end the other one first.
