Neither. A child functions best in a loving home. ';Issuing'; a woman a husband is no guarantee that she would like the man chosen for her and vice versa. Many single mothers have left men who they didn't love, who were abusive, alcoholics, etc. This is no solution. And just because she doesn't have a husband doesn't mean she's irresponsible. In fact, there are plenty of couples who are quite irresponsible and shouldn't be parents.





If the government is going to intervene, what they should do is ensure her child(ren) has/have adequate day care and she has a job where she can earn a living to support her family.Should the government issue single mothers husbands or just give their children to responsible couples.?
